Restaurant Dining Policy
Effective 01 September 2024
To ensure a pleasant dining experience for all our guests, please review our detailed dining policies on this page. These guidelines cover reservations, deposits, corkage fees, and other important details to help us serve you better.
This policy is valid from 15 January to 12 February 2025 and supersedes all other published dining policies.
Lunar New Year Dining Policy
Membership discounts, other discounts and promotions are not applicable throughout the Lunar New Year period.
For dine-in, an additional $20++ per can charge will be levied for customers who wish to use their own canned abalone to complement the meal.
Substitution of set menu dishes will incur a $30++ charge per dish, exclusive of the price difference of the dishes.
We reserve the right to replace set menu items with alternatives of similar value, should unforeseen stock availability issues arise.
For dine-in, set menus are intended for consumption per table and should not be distributed or shared among different tables.
Lunar New Year Period Corkage Policy
Corkage is chargeable at $28++ per bottle.
Enjoy complimentary corkage for 3 bottles with every bottle of wine or liquor purchased from our restaurant.
A single round of glassware will be provided for all complimentary bottles.
Lunar New Year Period Reservation and Cancellation Policy
A per table reservation guarantee is required to secure reservations during the Lunar New Year period. Details for the specified dates are as follows:
- Lunar New Year’s Eve
- Lunar New Year Eve reservations are only confirmed upon completion of 2 steps:
- Receipt of a $300 non-refundable cash deposit, payable via PayNow to UEN: 198205540K (Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd.) or direct cash payment at shopfront,
AND - Pre-selection of set menu/ a la carte dishes for lunch/ dinner.
- Receipt of a $300 non-refundable cash deposit, payable via PayNow to UEN: 198205540K (Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd.) or direct cash payment at shopfront,
- Reservations can be made via phone call to shopfront +65 6775 7348 / +65 6778 7198.
- Reservations without either the cash deposit payment and/ or the pre-order of dishes will be automatically declined.
- Lunar New Year Eve reservations are only confirmed upon completion of 2 steps:
- Other dates within our Lunar New Year Period, excluding the Eve
- A credit card guarantee of $100 is required.
- A penalty fee of $100 is chargeable for no-show or for cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation timeslot.
- Reservations can be made via either:
- Chope platform (System will automatically request for the deposit via credit card authorisation hold/ pre-authorisation). This amount is only an authorisation to hold your reservation. Your card will not be charged unless you fail to show for your reservation (“no-show”) or cancel less than 48 hours before your reservation timeslot. The authorisation hold is automatically released within 7 days from the dine-in date.

Lunar New Year Period Private Room Booking Policy
A minimum expenditure and non-refundable deposit (ranging from $100 during the festive period to $300 for the Eve) are both required for private room booking during the Lunar New Year Period. Please refer to the table below for the minimum spend amount for the respective dates:
ALPHA Private Room (up to 10 pax, long table set-up)
- 15 – 23 Jan 2025: Minimum spend $1,388++
- 24 Jan – 4 Feb 2025 (29 Jan closed): $1,688++
5 – 12 Feb 2025: Minimum spend $1,388++
OMEGA Private Room (up to 10 pax, round table set-up)
- 15 – 23 Jan 2025: Minimum spend $1,688++
- 24 Jan – 4 Feb 2025 (29 Jan closed): $1,888++
5 – 12 Feb 2025: Minimum spend $1,688++The non-refundable deposit will be applied towards your final bill on your reservation date. Strictly no cancellations and no refunds.
In the event that the actual bill does not meet the minimum spend, the difference will be charged accordingly.

Lunar New Year Period Pre-Order of Charcoal Roasted Suckling Piglet Policy
A non-refundable S$100 deposit is required for pre-orders of our Charcoal Roasted Suckling Piglet.
Upon confirmation of dish availability, do proceed to transfer the deposit via PayNow to UEN: 198205540K (Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd.), indicating as reference, the characters “SP” followed by your mobile number and reservation date in this format: “SP_91234567_10Aug”.
A Charcoal Roasted Suckling Piglet pre-order confirmation will be sent to your preferred method of either email or WhatsApp.

Prices indicated are in Singapore dollars and are subject to prevailing government taxes and service charges/ delivery fees.
Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd. (“the Company”) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, alter, amend, or update the Restaurant Policies at any time without prior notice. Such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Restaurant Policies on the Company’s website or by other means of communication deemed appropriate by the Company. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the Restaurant Policies periodically for any updates or changes.
Chin Huat Live Seafood (“Chin Huat”) offers a free membership program, available for anyone to join.
You can sign up for a new membership or log in to an existing account through our member portal.
Membership is free, but maintaining it and enjoying its benefits requires members to consent to receive marketing communications, promotional materials, and updates from Chin Huat.
If a member wishes to opt out of receiving marketing communications, promotional materials, or updates, they can do so by logging into the member portal and changing their notification preferences under “Settings > Notifications.” Opting out will result in the cancellation of membership and forfeiture of membership privileges.
Members receive a 10% discount on dine-in orders at our restaurant. This discount cannot be combined with set menus or other ongoing promotions. Additionally, members may receive other exclusive offers and promotions periodically via email.
By registering for membership, members agree to allow Chin Huat to collect, use, disclose, and process their personal data to: (i) process their membership application; (ii) communicate regarding the membership program; (iii) manage and administer the membership program; and (iv) send news and promotional offers. Members’ personal data may also be disclosed to government or law enforcement authorities upon request during investigations.
Members further agree that Chin Huat, along with its affiliates, related entities, and third parties acting on its behalf, may collect, use, and disclose their personal data to send agreed marketing materials, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our Privacy Policy.
Chin Huat reserves the right to refuse any membership application without explanation and to modify the membership program at its sole discretion, without prior notice to members.
To book a private room on regular days, a minimum expenditure and a non-refundable S$100 deposit are required. Higher minimum spend and deposit amounts apply during festive periods, including New Year, Lunar New Year, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas. These specific requirements will be communicated separately.
- A minimum spend of S$788++ is required for the ALPHA Room (long table setup for up to 10 guests).
- A minimum spend of S$988++ is required for the OMEGA Room (round table setup for up to 10 guests).
The deposit will be credited toward your final bill on the reservation date. If rescheduling is necessary, the deposit can be transferred to a future reservation within two months of the original booking date. After this two-month period, any unused deposit will be forfeited.
If the actual bill does not meet the minimum spend requirement, the shortfall will be added to your final bill. The 10% dine-in discount available to Chin Huat Live Seafood members is only applicable if the minimum spend for the respective private room is met.

A S$28 deposit is required to secure a table reservation on regular weekends (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays. This excludes festive periods such as Lunar New Year, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Reservations and deposits can be made through the following methods:
Chope Platform: The system will automatically request a deposit via credit card authorisation hold. This authorisation holds your reservation and will not be charged unless you fail to show up (“no-show”) or cancel less than 24 hours before your reservation time. Phone Call: Call +65 6775 7348 or +65 6778 7198 to check table availability. Once confirmed, make a PayNow payment to UEN: 198205540K (Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd.), using your mobile number and reservation date in this format: “91234567_27Oct” as a reference. You will receive a confirmation of your reservation via your chosen method—email or WhatsApp.
The deposit will be applied toward your final bill when you dine with us, subject to the following conditions:
No Last-Minute Changes: Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation time. However, the deposit can be applied to a shopfront take-out order on the day of the reservation. Any unused deposit will be forfeited.
Flexible Planning: For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, the deposit will be held for a future dine-in or shopfront take-out order (excluding online orders) within one month of the original reservation date. Any unused portion of the deposit will be forfeited after one month.
Group reservations for 30 or more people can only be arranged by calling +65 6775 7348 or +65 6778 7198.
For group reservations without advance dish orders, a S$100 deposit per table is required. This deposit will be applied toward your final bill on the day of dining, subject to the following conditions:
No Last-Minute Changes: Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation time. However, the deposit can be used for shopfront take-out on the day of the reservation. Any unused portion of the deposit will be forfeited.
Flexible Planning: For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, the deposit can be retained for future dine-in or shopfront take-out orders (excluding online orders) within two months of the original reservation date. Any unused portion will be forfeited after the two-month period.
For group reservations with a confirmed pre-order menu, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total bill (including 10% service charge and prevailing GST) is required. This deposit will be credited to your final bill on the reservation date. The entire deposit will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or cancellation.
Deposits for group reservations (30 persons and above) are required only after arrangements are confirmed. Payments can be made via PayNow to UEN: 198205540K (Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd.). Please use your mobile number and reservation date in this format: “91234567_27Oct” as the reference.
Reservation confirmations will be sent through your preferred method, either email or WhatsApp.
A non-refundable S$100 deposit is required to pre-order our Charcoal Roasted Suckling Piglet.

You will receive a pre-order confirmation for the Charcoal Roasted Suckling Piglet through your preferred method, either email or WhatsApp.
Corkage is charged at S$28++ per bottle. You can enjoy complimentary corkage for up to three bottles when you purchase a bottle of wine or liquor from our restaurant. A single round of glassware will be provided for all complimentary bottles.
Chin Huat Live Seafood Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to alter, modify, amend, or update the Restaurant Policies at any time, without prior notice. Such changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Company’s website or via other appropriate communication channels. It is the responsibility of customers to review Restaurant Policies regularly for updates or changes.
